Better Things for Your Mind
Hypno-CBT for young adults
What I offer?
Hi, I’m Viktorija, a Hypno-CBT therapist supporting young adults to reduce anxiety, overthinking, and feeling stuck through practical, evidence-based tools.
Confidence & emotional resilience building
Anxiety & overthinking support
If your mind feels constantly active or overwhelmed, we can work together to reduce overthinking and help you feel more grounded. This includes understanding the patterns that keep anxiety going and learning practical ways to calm both your thoughts and your body.
Alongside therapy, I also have experience as a job coach supporting neurodivergent young people into employment. This means I understand how anxiety, motivation, and overwhelm can affect everyday structure and follow-through. I can support you with building routines, staying accountable, and managing stress around work, study, or career decisions.
Practical support from job coaching experience
If you struggle with self-doubt, overthinking what others think of you, or feeling “not good enough”, this work can help you build a steadier sense of confidence. We can work on reducing harsh self-criticism and developing a more supportive inner voice so you feel more emotionally balanced in everyday situations.
FAQs
What is CBH?
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is a practical, evidence-informed approach that combines elements of cognitive behavioural therapy with therapeutic hypnosis techniques. It helps you understand and change unhelpful thought patterns while also working with the mind in a relaxed, focused state that supports positive change.
Note: Hypnotherapy does not erase memories or take away your control. You remain fully aware throughout, and it is simply a relaxed state of focused attention used to support positive and practical change. This is not a “woo-woo” or stage-style practice.
Who do you work with?
I work with young adults aged 18–25 who are looking for support with confidence, resilience, stress management, goal setting, and career direction.
I do not work with individuals who are currently experiencing or have a primary diagnosis of severe mental health conditions such as psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or borderline personality disorder, PTSD. I am also not able to support individuals who are currently in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts. If this applies to you, I encourage you to seek support from your GP or local crisis services, who are best placed to help.
How do sessions work?
Sessions take place online, one-to-one, via Google Meet. We focus on one main goal or issue at a time so that the work feels clear, manageable, and focused.
Most people work with me for around 4–10 sessions, however the number of sessions can vary depending on your individual needs and what you would like support with.
During sessions, I may use practical tools, guided techniques, and visual materials to help explain and explore what we are working on. I also aim to give you something practical to take away from each session, so you can continue applying the work in your everyday life.
Each session is currently £30. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to get in touch.
